The interviewer cut the interview short as she told me she was feeling very ill and was going to go home. She was then walking me to the elevator and as the elevator doors open I see my old manager from Indymac bank where I just got laid off! The manager then sings my praises to the interviewer and says “You have to hire this guy”! I then said bye to the interviewer and my old manager. As I was pulling out of the parking lot I received a call saying “can you start on Monday”? And just like icing on the cake, I was receiving an increase in pay, about 70% more!.

I thank God that I remained positive and thankful in situation where it was tempting and easy to be negative! What we perceive to be a negative can be a HUGE positive. A negative mindset would not have helped or accomplished anything!
